Empowering Teens to Grow, Connect, and Thrive
At NEOVIA Wellness Foundation, we believe every teen deserves a safe, supportive, and welcoming space to feel heard, build confidence, and discover their potential.
Our Teen Wellness Group is designed to support young people as they navigate the challenges of adolescence, develop healthy coping skills, and build meaningful connections with peers. Through guided discussions, interactive activities, and supportive group experiences, teens are encouraged to explore their emotions, strengthen their self-esteem, and develop tools to support their overall well-being.
Our group focuses on:

  • Emotional Wellness: Understanding emotions and learning healthy ways to express and manage them.

  • Confidence and Self-Esteem: Building self-awareness, resilience, and a positive sense of self.

  • Peer Connection: Creating meaningful friendships and fostering a sense of belonging.

  • Healthy Coping Skills: Developing practical strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and everyday challenges.

  • Communication and Life Skills: Strengthening communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Personal Growth: Encouraging self-discovery, positive choices, and a hopeful outlook for the future.

    Group Therapy Session

    Grief Group

    Starting Saturday November 7th!!

A Safe Space to Heal, Connect, and Find Hope

At NEOVIA Wellness Foundation, we understand that grief is a deeply personal journey, and there is no right or wrong way to grieve. Whether you are coping with the loss of a loved one or navigating another significant loss, you deserve a space where your feelings are acknowledged, your story is respected, and you do not have to walk through grief alone.

Our Grief Support Group offers a compassionate, welcoming, and supportive environment where individuals can share their experiences, connect with others who understand, and find comfort in knowing they are not alone. Through guided conversations, peer support, and meaningful activities, participants are encouraged to express their emotions, honor their loved ones, and explore healthy ways to navigate life after loss.

    Our group focuses on:

    • Emotional Support: Providing a safe space to express feelings of sadness, anger, confusion, loneliness, and other emotions associated with grief.

    • Connection and Belonging: Bringing people together to share experiences, listen without judgment, and build supportive connections.

    • Healthy Coping Strategies: Exploring practical tools to navigate difficult days, manage overwhelming emotions, and care for emotional well-being.

    • Honoring Memories: Creating opportunities to remember, celebrate, and cherish the lives and relationships that remain meaningful.

    • Healing at Your Own Pace: Recognizing that grief is unique to every individual and that healing does not follow a set timeline.

    • Hope and Renewal: Supporting participants as they gradually discover ways to move forward while carrying their memories and love with them.

At NEOVIA Wellness Foundation, we believe that healing does not mean forgetting. It means learning to live with loss while making room for connection, meaning, and hope. Our goal is to ensure that every participant feels heard, valued, and supported throughout their journey.

Whether you come to share your story, listen to others, or simply find comfort in being among people who understand, you are welcome here.

You don't have to navigate grief alone. We welcome you to connect with NEOVIA Wellness Foundation and take the first step toward finding support, understanding, and connection.

Building Cultural Understanding. Strengthening Trust. Enhancing Care.

At NEOVIA Wellness Foundation, we believe that culturally safe, respectful, and inclusive care begins with understanding. Our Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Workshop is designed to support clinicians and healthcare professionals in developing greater awareness of Indigenous histories, cultures, traditions, lived experiences, and the ongoing impacts of colonization on health and wellness.

This workshop provides an opportunity for clinicians to reflect on their professional practices, explore cultural perspectives, and strengthen their ability to provide compassionate, culturally responsive care to Indigenous individuals, families, and communities.

Through guided discussions, learning activities, and reflective practice, participants are encouraged to deepen their understanding, challenge assumptions, and recognize the importance of humility, respect, and relationship-building in healthcare settings.

      Workshop Learning Objectives

      • Understanding Indigenous Histories and Cultures: Explore the diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples, including their distinct histories, traditions, values, and worldviews.

      • Recognizing Historical and Intergenerational Trauma: Examine how colonization, residential schools, systemic discrimination, and other historical and ongoing injustices can influence health and well-being.

      • Cultural Safety and Humility: Develop awareness of personal biases, assumptions, and power dynamics while fostering respectful and equitable interactions.

      • Trauma-Informed and Person-Centred Care: Strengthen approaches that prioritize dignity, emotional safety, trust, and individual needs.

      • Building Trusting Relationships: Learn the importance of listening, collaboration, accountability, and meaningful engagement with Indigenous clients, families, and communities.

      • Inclusive and Culturally Responsive Practice: Identify practical ways to integrate cultural awareness and respect into everyday clinical interactions and professional decision-making.

      Who Should Attend?

This workshop is intended for clinicians and healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, counsellors, psychologists, social workers, therapists, mental health practitioners, and other professionals committed to improving culturally responsive care.

      Our Commitment

NEOVIA Wellness Foundation is committed to fostering greater understanding, respect, and inclusion within healthcare and wellness settings. We recognize that cultural awareness is an ongoing learning journey that requires openness, reflection, and a willingness to grow.

By supporting clinicians in developing culturally informed approaches, we aim to contribute to more respectful healthcare experiences, stronger therapeutic relationships, and improved access to care for Indigenous individuals and communities.

Join us in building a healthcare environment where every person is treated with dignity, their cultural identity is respected, and their voice is valued.
